L\u2019elevata velocit\u00e0 di rotazione raggiungibile permette di migliorare la precisione delle lavorazioni e la qualit\u00e0 di finitura superficiale, di allungare significativamente la durata degli utensili e di ridurre l\u2019usura dei taglienti, diminuendo in maniera significativa i tempi di lavorazione. Grazie ai cuscinetti a sfere in ceramica, la precisione di concentricit\u00e0 (runout) dei mandrino RBX \u00e8 davvero elevata e consente di realizzare asportazioni estremamente sottili. La precisione \u00e8 garantita da un sistema di misura delle concentricit\u00e0 che \u00e8 in grado di rilevare i movimenti del mandrino durante la rotazione ad alta velocit\u00e0. Le turbine ad aria RBX impediscono l\u2019espansione termica del mandrino. Di frequente la lunghezza totale dell\u2019utensile pu\u00f2 variare leggermente a causa dell\u2019escursione termica quando il mandrino della macchina gira ad alti regimi di rotazione; i mandrini RBX risolvono questo problema poich\u00e9 la trasmissione \u00e8 alimentata da aria compressa, che assicura l\u2019elevata accuratezza richiesta nelle microlavorazioni. Il cambio utensile automatico \u00e8 disponibile fornendo aria tramite un blocco di arresto in grado di migliorare la produttivit\u00e0 in operazioni non presidiate. Il mandrino Air Power RBX7 con fresa di diametro 1 mm e diametro del corpo di 12 mm raggiunge regimi di 60.000 &#8211; 80.000 giri\/min.
