For this reason, RICOH has developed RICOH SC-10A work assistance camera, which prevents process mistakes caused by human during the assembly of parts. Available for the Italian market exclusively from Visionlink, RICOH SC-10A is an all-in-one system including camera, optics and software for automatic control of the workflow. It is extremely easy to configure, because the image recognition software and the application are already integrated:\u00a0 you only need to connect mouse, keyboard and monitor to the camera to be ready to work. By the image recognition techniques, it\u2019s possible to check manual assembly phases, identifying correct, incorrect and missing parts of the product. The system automatically compares each step of the work result with pre-defined images, reporting every possible mistake to the operator.
