By simplifying production startup, reducing cycle times, and increasing accuracy, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>the modules boost productivity and yield, while also cutting noise, increasing reliability, and reducing the size of robot assembly cells<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Unlike conventional belt-and roller conveyors, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>each LCM100 module contains an independently controlled high-speed linear motor<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> that enables bidirectional movement and programmable speed up to 3000 mm\/s. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>Production lines can be configured optimally<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">, not dependent on the longest process cycle time, and utilize inline equipment more efficiently to save space and capital expenditure. Further benefits of the linear drives include low friction and lag-free acceleration and deceleration. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The robust and stable sliders, combined with <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>positioning accuracy better than \u00b10.015mm<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">, allow assembly tasks to be performed directly on the module. With no need to de-palletise and move workpieces from a conventional conveyor to a work-table, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>tact time can be faster and assembly cells smaller and more cost-effective<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">. Without physical microswitches or end stops, slider stop positions can be quickly and easily reprogrammed in software.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a><span lang=\"en-US\">The modules are available in standard 480 mm and 640 mm lengths and <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>carry 15 kg maximum payload<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">.
