The association is back in action

After the almost two-year stop imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, it is time to go back to experiencing the association in presence, and in this sense trade fairs play a crucial role. AIdAM will be present, on November 23rd-25th in Bologna, at MECSPE: the exhibition, in its new location, will represent an important hub for the meeting of operators and end-users, but also a showcase to present the innovations and the objectives of the association.

Returning to a trade show after almost two years is a challenge. As AIdAM we have decided to accept it, because challenges are in the DNA of our members and therefore of our Association. As President of AIdAM, this is how I would like to describe the spirit of the new start and the decision to return to action after an almost two-year stop. Trade fairs are fundamental settings for discussion and a unique opportunity for productive meetings for companies operating in B2B, which cannot be replaced by virtual technologies, although they have been invaluable since the start of the pandemic. On November 23rd-25th, MECSPE will act as a hub between operators in the mechatronics sector and end-users, in a discussion on the technologies of the future. A special reflection will be dedicated also to the situation of supplies, a real fetter for the growth of the sector which in 2021 has recorded significant figures.

The novelties with which AIdAM will present itself at MECSPE this year will focus on training in companies and schools.

What will be on show

The innovations with which AIdAM will take part in MECSPE this year will be focused on training, because the historic change we are experiencing requires a great training plan, in companies and in schools. We are therefore working on different projects together with the Ministry of Education, University and Research, with which we have recently renewed the agreement protocol, to improve orientation and future employment potential of young people. Of course, our manual “Mechatronics in Industrial Automation”, a text designed to encourage and enhance technical training, will also be there. AIdAM looks forward to seeing you at the fair in Hall 30 stand C22 to discuss projects and opportunities we can work on together.
