{"id":1929,"date":"2020-07-14T07:21:52","date_gmt":"2020-07-14T07:21:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.publiteconline.it\/applicazioni-laser\/?p=1929"},"modified":"2025-07-11T07:47:30","modified_gmt":"2025-07-11T07:47:30","slug":"turbine-oceaniche","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.publiteconline.it\/applicazioni-laser\/turbine-oceaniche\/","title":{"rendered":"Turbine oceaniche prodotte in additive manufacturing"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.renishaw.com\/en\/renishaw-enhancing-efficiency-in-manufacturing-and-healthcare--1030?utm_source=StoneJunction&amp;utm_medium=hard+news&amp;utm_campaign=REN470\"><u><strong>Renishaw<\/strong><\/u><\/a><strong> ha collaborato con il Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) e con l&#8217;azienda canadese Biome Renewables, per produrre componenti in additive manufacturing per due turbine oceaniche.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Renishaw ha contribuito alla realizzazione di un <strong>PowerCone in grado di ruotare insieme al rotore della turbina e alle eliche ricurve al fine di ridurre l&#8217;attrito complessivo.<\/strong> Grazie alle lavorazioni additive in metallo<strong>, il costo per la produzione dei pezzi si \u00e8 ridotto dell&#8217;80% ed \u00e8 stato possibile sviluppare i due componenti in soli due mesi.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Biome Renewables<\/strong> \u00e8 un\u2019azienda di progettazione industriale con sede in Ontario, Canada, <strong>specializzata nello sviluppo di turbine eoliche<\/strong>. Al fine di espandere le proprie attivit\u00e0 con l\u2019introduzione di sistemi per lo <strong>sfruttamento dell&#8217;energia marina<\/strong>, Biome si \u00e8 affidata <strong>all\u2019esperienza nel campo delle tecnologie oceaniche dell\u2019NSCC  e alla sua struttura di ricerca<\/strong>, in cui vengono costruiti prototipi per diversi settori industriali. Le soluzioni in plastica inizialmente ideate dall\u2019NSCC non erano adatte agli ambienti sottomarini, per cui si \u00e8 deciso di ricorrere alle <strong>lavorazioni AM in metallo per aumentare la resistenza dei componenti.<\/strong> \u00c8 stato richiesto anche l&#8217;aiuto di <strong>Renishaw che ha messo a disposizione tutta la sua competenza nel settore delle lavorazioni AM in metallo.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Renishaw ha partecipato alla progettazione di due componenti per Biome<\/strong>. Il primo pezzo era un <strong>PowerCone\u00ae, un sistema di retrofit che pu\u00f2 essere installato nel cuore di una turbina preesistente per rallentare la velocit\u00e0 di rotazione delle pale e aumentarne l&#8217;efficienza del 10-15%<\/strong>. Renishaw ha inoltre contribuito alla <strong>produzione di eliche con un design ricurvo per ridurre l&#8217;attrito generato dalla rotazione in acqua.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I componenti sono stati installati nel prototipo di turbina che \u00e8 stato successivamente testato presso Strangford Loch in Irlanda del Nord. <strong>PowerCone<\/strong><sup><strong>\u00ae<\/strong><\/sup><strong> ed eliche sono stati installati in una turbina gi\u00e0 esistente per testarne il funzionamento. <\/strong>Dopo l&#8217;immersione, il test ha mostrato che la turbina modificata produceva molta pi\u00f9 energia rispetto a prima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c<strong>La lavorazione additiva ci ha permesso di produrre i pezzi finali in due mesi, un risultato impossibile con i sistemi tradizionali<\/strong>\u201d ha dichiarato Mark Kirby, Additive Manufacturing Business Manager di Renishaw Canada. \u201cIl progetto di turbina oceanica ha rappresentato una straordinaria opportunit\u00e0 per collaborare con uno dei nostri numerosi clienti canadesi e ci ha permesso di capire meglio in che modo la tecnologia AM in metallo potesse contribuire a migliorare l&#8217;efficienza dei sistemi per lo sfruttamento delle energie rinnovabili\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c<strong>Le turbine marine rappresentano solo uno dei numerosi aspetti di un mercato delle energie rinnovabili in rapida crescita<\/strong> ed \u00e8 stato entusiasmante avere l&#8217;opportunit\u00e0 di partecipare a questo progetto\u201d, ha continuato Kirby. \u201cMolte persone sono convinte che la lavorazione additiva in metallo sia una tecnologia costosa. In realt\u00e0, <strong>questa scelta ha permesso a Biome di abbassare i costi di produzione della turbina dell&#8217;80%.<\/strong> Speriamo di avere la possibilit\u00e0 di lavorare ad altri progetti
